An Introducing Broker (IB) has a starting reward size of 33% of the opening spread on all transactions closed by signed up clients, and this can be increased up to 40% by meeting certain requirements. IBs can also apply to be a Regional Representative and have a regional office, which can help grow your referral base by increasing your local presence.
IB Requirements
The first requirement is that your Personal Area is fully verified.
Once fully verified, the requirements for IB are:
Requirement | Other countries | China & Thailand |
---|---|---|
Monthly average trading volume (ATV) for the past 3 calendar months | USD 10 million | USD 30 million |
Active clients in past 3 calendar months | 3 | 3 |
Within IB status, there are 4 reward tiers, namely Bronze Partner, Silver Partner, Gold Partner, and Brilliant Partner. The requirements for each tier increase, and the reward size climbs from 33% up to a possible 40%.
IB reward tiers
Below are the IB reward tiers, including reward size and requirements; accounts are checked manually each month to see if they qualify.
IB status | Reward size | ATV for 3 months | Active clients |
---|---|---|---|
Bronze Partner | 33% | USD 10 million | 3 |
Silver Partner | 35% | USD 50 million | 5 |
Gold Partner | 37% | USD 150 million | 8 |
Brilliant Partner | 40% | USD 300 million | 10 |
Please note these requirements do not apply to China; partners in China may contact Support or their regional account managers for more details.
How to apply to be an IB
Partners can contact their regional account managers to apply for IB status or complete in this application form.
Achieving the partner status of an IB is automatic for partners in select countries. In such cases, the accounts of Partners and Advanced Partners are monitored regularly to check if they meet necessary requirements and their reward level is automatically adjusted.
Be aware that a loss of the IB status is possible if the minimum requirements are not kept, and is based on a monthly check done. Failing to meet the requirements for 3 calendar months in a row can result in loss of IB status.
