Your security type affects which method of communication is used to verify and authorise your transactions. Security types available are: SMS (high security) and email (low security). The security type set by default during the registration process is based on the email address used to sign up.
It is only possible to change your security type from email to SMS; here’s how:
- Log in to your Exness Personal Area.
- Click Settings from the left main menu.
- Select SMS, then click Save.
- A verification code will be sent to your current security type. Use this when prompted and click Change to confirm.
Congratulations, your security type has been changed!
If you have set your security type to SMS (high security) and would like to change your registered phone number, follow this link.
